Company History
- 1979 - The Label Centre (TLC) first opened,
with three employees, manufacturing labels for the local retail
market.
- 1989 - New owner Clive Ozard purchased The
Label Centre, still with only three employees.
- 1992 - TLC installed its first six-colour
press.
- 1995 - TLC added new converting services to
its range of capabilities.
- 1996 - TLC moved to a larger production
facility on Stevenage Drive.
- 2000 - TLC added a second six-colour label -
converting press and QA equipment to offer expanded production
capacity to clients.
- 2001 - The Label Centre became Label
Innovation Inc. (LINC) and adopted the slogan 'Partners in Pursuit
of Perfection' to reflect the new focus of client collaboration and
innovation.
- 2003 - LINC established a Quality Control
department and became ISO 9001:2000 certified.
- 2004 - LINC received 3M Preferred Converter
status.
- 2004 - Label Innovation Inc. celebrated 25
years of service.
- 2006 - LINC moved to 27,000 square foot
facility in Ottawa's south end (2714 Fenton Road)
- 2009 - LINC installs new Delta machine, the
first in Canada. The Delta is a high end converting
equipment.
- 2009 - LINC embarks on a succession plan,
strikes partnership with Kelly Youngdale and Clive Ozard.
- 2010 - LINC established Toronto Sales

- 2011 - LINC established Montreal Sales
Office
The Label Innovation Inc. team has now grown to 37 staff focused
on collaboration, quality and innovation who service the industrial, medical, technology, and security markets
across North America.
