The
manufacture of a new product, particularly one that has little or
no production precedent, is a welcome challenge to Label
Innovation. With its adaptable plant and personnel, it is
positioned to apply specialized techniques and to handle unfamiliar
materials in the creation of a new and different conversion
item.
Once the initial fabrication is achieved, Label Innovation
(LINC) is prepared to work with the customer on product continuous
improvement, particularly cost. This involves cooperative work on
bettering a product or the cost of its manufacture through
calculated changes to the production process. The necessary
experimentation may or may not involve a financial investment by
the customer, but the process is undeniably dependent on the time
and effort of two willing business partners.
Process Control & Quality Assurance
Under its business objective of maximum
supplier-buyer integration, Label Innovation has worked out process
control and quality assurance arrangements with a number of its
customers. These build on the superior process control and quality
assurance programs natural to a first-rate converting firm, and
allow customers with special needs to go a BIG step further. LINC
is always ready to cooperate with a customer to develop documented
process and quality specifications, and to be rigorously evaluated
on the resulting performance. In such a setup, LINC truly becomes a
branch plant and part of our customer's supply-chain management
system.
